“Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that” by Martin Luther King.

Cattle graze peacefully in the green fields.

Their lowing murmur, pleasure to the master’s ears

As he walks on the other side of the farm lands

In his left arm he carries a burly bag of grain attached to his person

By ropes lashed securely together

The neck of the sack is wide for better reach

He sprays seeds by the handful into the freshly plowed loam

On his head is a wide brim hat, brown, old and dusty with repeated use.

In the early morning sunshine

The sun alights on his figure

Rendering him almost an otherworldly being

The connection with the land is apparent as he farms

In the traditional vein of his forefathers

His love for the earth is palpable, unmistakable and dignified even.

Great men believed in the Bible.

“No educated man can afford to be ignorant of the bible.” “A thorough knowledge of the Bible is worth more than a college education”  by Theodore Roosevelt.

Can you appreciate how old the Bible is? It is a fountain of information, and we are still discovering its mystery’s. Finding out new things about it everyday.I’m glad this Book made its way into my life. As I journey through its passages and delve into its message,I want to take my readers on that pilgrimage with me.I’m of the belief that shared knowledge is for the betterment of mankind.

To knowledge, victory and triumph in all things!

In triumph I

Surrender to love completely

Broken I submitted, now reborn

Like a hibiscus flower wilting in the heat of the sun

Only to recover in the cool of a rain shower replete

I sing a love song

My siren call echoes like sound ricocheting around and around

The cave like prison of existence

Of day and night fading into twilight

Like light pouring through a skylight

I sing a love song

Of taste and textures sublime

Sweet lyrics and rhyme

Scaling lofty heights of feeling

Searing deep inside melting

Colliding with space and time

I sing a love song

Ethereal beauty eclipsing solidity and substance

Love channels undulating like waves upon the sea

Carefree tendrils of  spray like foam

Resembling ribbons of white lace

Playing etch a sketch upon the molecules and atoms of a heart beating

Totally hopelessly wondrously in love

Will you ask? Perhaps I will answer

Now I sing a song of love

My treble a high octave

Of love, my heart, my only one,

In your arms I’d truly be home where I belong

Mi Corazon.

Cold November shrouds her in mystery

As far as the eyes can see

Change rushes upon her

Mighty and unstoppable

White draping conforms to her contours

She is part of the landscape/ it becomes her

Time marches on/ she puts

On layer after layer

For she becomes inclement weather

She is like fog come up suddenly over the moors

Upon a windswept afternoon.

Flowing and filling up the landscape

Movements endless as she reaches

Arms outstretched in eternal embrace

Her maternal bosom heaving

Epitome of grace, strength and resplendent beauty

She is woman!

“Science is not only compatible with spirituality; it is a profound source of spirituality. When we recognize our place in an immensity of light‐years and in the passage of ages, when we grasp the intricacy, beauty, and subtlety of life, then that soaring feeling, that sense of elation and humility combined, is surely spiritual. So are our emotions in the presence of great art or music or literature, or acts of exemplary selfless courage such as those of Mohandas Gandhi or Martin Luther King, Jr. The notion that science and spirituality are somehow mutually exclusive does a disservice to both” Carl Sagan.

“Humanity and spirituality are intrinsically linked ,mankind can’t separate the two” by Joszann St.John.
