But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy”1 Peter 1:15-16

“God is holy in nature and in all His ways, and he wants to make man like Himself. He wants man to be Christlike. This is the aim of all Christian effort. We must therefore constantly and earnestly pray to be made holy” E.M.Bounds.

God gives us the strength to press on.Sometimes we go through unimaginable difficulties and looking back we ask ourselves how we ever survived? I’m one of those who survived against the innumerable odds stacked against me.I can do nothing by myself,I’ve tried too many times and failed woefully.I’m here to encourage others to surrender to the master and let him take you thorough. When you’ve done all you could and yet you’re experiencing failure and setbacks you need to get help from outside yourself.God is the source,he’s my help and by his grace and his mercy he will do it for you to my friends.Don’t give up today give him a try,I know some of you have allowed him into your heart after a fashion (meaning it was a haphazard effort) .Give him your all, you’ll be glad that you did.Press in today and he’ll meet you.I practice what I teach you know. Some of you might know elements of my story.I used to be a christian as a young girl but I fell away from the faith.

I got married and went through hell on earth, it was towards the end of that marriage that I contemplated suicide. In one of those desperate moments I heard a voice say very clearly to me “Joszann do you know how much I love you?”  I knew it was God speaking and I’ve never been the same since. You know men can be real slick and we think we don’t need God but he is the only one that can fix the mess the world is currently embroiled in.All paths don’t lead to him because if it did all faiths would be homogeneous.Like any good bible scholar I have an issue with this many paths idea, because the Bible teaches that there is one way to God and that is through Jesus Christ. So we all know the rhetoric and discussion that is bandied about daily, quite frankly I’m surprised more of us are not fed up with it.I have dreamed of a better world and you have too.We need real change and empowerment to be all that we were meant to be.There is a source and he’s waiting for you to take the plunge and trust him today.Your spirit bears evidence of  what you’ve just read that’s the reason you’re here .Blessings, peace and favor be yours today.

Christ and Christianity are inseparable, so intricately intertwined that one cannot exist without the other. Whether we recognize Christianity as divinity or religion doesn’t negate its relevance, significance or impact on mankind. The faiths doctrines and traditions are derived from the teachings of one individual. The question of the ages is who is this person? Some say he is Jesus the Christ, Savior of the World, Son of God and the earthly son of Mary and Joseph of Galilee. Hated, an object of ridicule, scorned, martyred, healed the sick, opened the eyes of the blind and cast out demons and devils as part of his earthly ministry. Jesus a paradox, misconstrued, reviled, loved, celebrated claimed divinity as his heritage and birthed Christianity a movement that has shaken the world foundations over centuries. Who is this man who incites such passion from his followers? Let’s excavate his history as we seek understanding of his role as a breach repairer, connecting man back to divinity.

Jesus birth is estimated to be around 6–4 BC/BCE. Historians have calculated his birth date based on two approaches. One involves the analysis of the nativity accounts in the gospels of Luke and Matthew and working backwards from the start of his ministry to arrive at a date. The other option is the use of historical data. Writers such as Flavius Joseph a 1st century Jewish historian in the time Jesus lived, recorded information we are privy to today. Jesus was born in the days when King Herod lived, the book of Luke 1:5 notes the reign of Herod shortly before Jesus was born. So what this information does is it authenticates the existence of Jesus and gives us historical real data.

On another level Herod would be recognized per his status as King, his significance in world history did not go unrecorded. Jesus on the other hand was unrecognized and seemingly insignificant. We must remember Jesus was of no real importance to the world at this time; his influence was mostly among his followers. Jesus bore no title; he did not belong to the wealthy and moneyed circles. Jesus was a trailblazer and revolutionary figure. Individuals of this bent are generally unrecognized until after their death. Most scholars will agree that Jesus existed and he was some sort of teacher. While there are footnotes and overlapping attributes describing Jesus in historical data. A lot is not known of him outside the people who interacted with him. Biblical scriptures teach that “… God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty” 1 Corinthians 1:27. Jesus of seemingly no importance has impacted the world in ways in which kings have been unable to do with all their power and influence.

Jesus has many attributes, he is not just a man he is also divinity in human form. His very birth attests his to uniqueness. From Biblical accounts in the Book of Luke Chapters 1 and 2 we learn the details surrounding Jesus conception and ultimate birth. Mary of Nazareth was Jesus earthly mother. Why Mary and not another woman one might ask? Some facts about Mary, she was a virgin, pledged to be married to Joseph of Nazareth a town in Galilee. Mary’s betrothed Joseph came from the line of David, why the significance? King David meant a lot to God, God testified concerning David I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do’ Acts 13:22.God does not look at things man looks at “… the Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” 1 Samuel 16:7.

David found favor with God, and God made him a promise that he would send the savior through his line. “When your days are over and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, who will come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom. He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son. Your house and your kingdom shall endure forever before me; your throne shall be established forever” 2 Samuel 7:12-16.Everything in creation attests to the power of the living God. God sets up his plans and purposes way in advance of the players coming onto the scene. He promised David and he fulfilled his word through Joseph and Mary.

God is holy; he will never dwell in unclean vessels. We are told Mary was a virgin, but more importantly she found favor with God. Both Mary and David found favor with God, why? The Lord knows hearts, he chooses who he wants. The work God has for those he favors is never easy. It is great to be chosen by God but it means men will reject you. Gods favor makes the chosen to be envied by other men. We have seen how envy and hatred played out in the lives of Jesus, Mary, Joseph and David. I always emphasize the fact that God is a spirit; spirit can take many forms but ultimately God requires willing men and women to do his work in the earth realm. Mankind doesn’t see the persona of God, but they see the person and characteristics of God in others.

The earth and where God resides in heaven are two different realms. Each realm is inhabited by different beings and has vastly different functions. Earth is the training ground for things of the spirit; earth is the qualifying realm so to speak. Only three ways to leave earth, you can become an astronaut but you must reenter in some fashion, the second is through the rapture or thirdly we must die. I say this because there is protocol in entering and leaving the realms. Based on the evidence we have at our disposal Jesus is the only being who navigated both realms successfully. One could only accomplish such a feat if they are on intimate relations with the father or only if they themselves have the authority to defy the rules, principles and conventions of universal laws.

When Jesus was preparing to come to earth, a sanctified vessel had to be found to carry divinity. God makes his work look so easy and effortless we sometimes tend to dismiss it as insignificant or not God like. I ask you is there a measure for identifying the things of God? A womb gives birth to life; the first womb God used was the earth when he created Adam. God had to put himself into a womb; he had to pick one that belonged to someone that was pure. God word is so important to him he says “heaven and earth will pass away but my word will never pass away” Mathew 24:35.Wait, do you understand what God has said, his word stands above all else it’s more important than even you and me, it’s more important than his own kingdom wow….?

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” John 1:14.If we think of God words becoming flesh and the process that entails. How did Gods word end up in Mary’s womb, that’s for next time.

“We were created to operate in the way God does, through words of faith” by Miles Munroe.

“Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear” Hebrews 11:3.

This scripture verse is referencing the work of creation. Creation story from a biblical standpoint, while fascinating leaves us with many questions. I’m aware that some cultures present other variations or viewpoints on the issue. However I believe most of us would love to know what really happened, a certain fascination or seeking is inherent in our collective consciousness .Even young kids, are curious about the whole affair. What I’m getting at is that, every theory presented to explain our existence is mans way of trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together. So what it comes down to is really which one do you believe? I choose to believe the Holy Bible, its collection of facts , events, geography and personalities is a fascinating portrait of humanity through the ages.

Ever wonder why we are the primary generation reading and studying the bible. The proliferation of the bible in modern times is truly staggering. I believe it was written for this generation.
