I wanted to look at the words dominion. What is dominion?

Dominion: Sovereignty; control: “man’s attempt to establish dominion over nature.” The territory of a sovereign or government:

domination – rule – power – reign – authority – control

Dominion was mans first assignment in the earth realm, ‘Rediscovering the kingdom’ By Miles Munroe. I’m primarily concerned with mans original rulership. Strip away everything you know about the modern trappings of society. You are left with just man, man with nothing, man needing God to protect him from the elements. Initially all man had was his spirit, soul, mind and body. In death, we see mankind stripped of everything including the very breath he enjoyed previously. I want you to get the picture of man, dependent on the universe for his very existence. How you say, does that have anything to do with ruler ship? Man is nothing; we have nothing, unless it is given to us by God. You see this naked, defenseless and hopeless, being called man, could not survive with the help of God. The psalmist says “what is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him?” – Psalm 8:4. If there are no guns, or weaponry, many of the wars would not be fought. If there was no witchcraft, many people would not have amassed what they have, or be able to destroy others. When we put on the veneer of civilization, we become powerful and think we can do many wicked things against each other. According to my bishop, ‘God is just playing along, ‘he will come so suddenly most people will not even realize what hit them. How many heinous crimes against humanity have been committed using the help of demons?

Mans rulership:

  • God gave man dominion over earth.
  • God gave man dominion over creation and earth,
  • Man was never given dominion over heaven (I shared with you how God came down, when man attempted to build a tower to the heavens at Babel)
  • God never gave man religion, but a relationship.
  • God never promised man heaven, but earth.
  • Man was never given dominion over other men

Man was sent to co partner with God in the earth realm, as God’s representative. God created heaven and earth. He also created spirit beings and fleshy beings (you and me); he decided that we should inhabit different realms. Let’s look at a portion of Psalm 148 “Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise him in the heights. Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens. Let them praise the name of the Lord: for he commanded, and they were created. Angels are created beings; man is made in the image and likeness of God. If we search the meaning of made and created, you will find out that they have different meanings. I’m not going into the root word or Hebrew word, this will suffice, one is an action word and the other is an adjective, so there is some distinction.

Made: (adjective):

Made or formed in a particular place or by a particular process: “a handmade dress”.

done – made-up

Create: (verb)

Bring (something) into existence: “he created a lake”; Cause (something) to happen as a result of     one’s actions:

make – produce – originate – generate – form – cause
God never gave any man control over any other. Sadly, this is the state of many individuals in the world today. As people are in bondage to this or that, half of the time, they had help in getting themselves in the fix they are in. It’s nothing new, since the beginning of mankind, we have disobeyed God laws, all kind of perversion and chaos has erupted. Many people now believe that is the way things ought to be and that God is dead. Well the devil is a liar. God is not dead and he is intervening in the affairs of man.

Much of the atrocities we are seeing today are being performed by wicked men and women under demonic influence. They believe they can do just about anything they please, including taking lives at will. God is going to deal with them now, and on judgment day. They want to be spiritual movers and shakers without submitting to the power of God. God always chooses who he wants to do his bidding. Adam was an ambassador sent by heaven, but he messed up as many others after him. God sent Jesus to deliver mankind and to restore to us what Adam and eve lost through their carelessness. Jesus preached the message, that the kingdom of heaven is at hand, but most folks don’t understand what he was talking about, even two thousand and more years later. In Europe most people understand the workings of the kingdom system, because they have been a part of that system that gave rise to sovereignty. God instituted the kingdom idea, even though man has taken it and perverted that too. I want to remind us once again of Genesis 1:26 “Then God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

I can’t see, where it says we are to have dominion over each other, maybe I’m reading the scripture, incorrectly. So to those who are doing evil and think God is not seeing you, wake up, he is coming to you personally. Telling me you sending demons to destroy and terrorize people. You stealing and killing, you will answer, every last one of you, don’t worry your day is arriving.
”He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?” Psalm 94:9

Money cash

Words like power, money and control are often bandied about quite casually. If we study the nature of man, we will come to an understanding of how these terms impact every aspect of human life. Man is a consumer; he will always require something as he goes about daily life. He has to find a way to accomplish his desires, and fulfill his needs. The basic need for clothing, food and shelter, compels certain decision making processes. Ultimately we need money, if we are to have even the basics things in life. Money can be a force for good or evil, its dual nature has influenced many people in various ways. One of the lessons the Bible teaches is that “as it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one” Romans 3:10. Without the spirit of God in dwelling us it is impossible to live a life that is humanistic and selfless. So the opposite of that, is to try and influence or exert control over others to get our way.

Power is the ultimate tool in the hands of man; there are two powers at work in the earth realm. One is satanic, in the form of the powers of darkness. The other is a force for good, God’s way, the truth and light. Unfortunately, Adam’s and Eve decision in the Garden of Eden placed every human being into the hands of Satan. The only way we can be free of Satan is to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Power can be abused, evil men and women have come up with ways to exert control over others. Satan is the mastermind behind every wicked technology, what he has done is to teach his agents how to rig the world system that is under his directives. The world system of trade and economy represents the Babylonian system of old. It’s the system that gave rise to most of the models we follow today in business etc. Babylon is about greed, control, selfishness, hoarding and amassing to gain leverage and power over others. I’m not attacking the wealthy, all I’m doing is teaching about the systems of the world. God will give me and every other believer what is his to give.God’s system is vastly different from the world system.

Ultimately everything in heaven and earth belongs to God. In the early church, the people came together, as a community of and divided up their wealth so everyone could benefit .The Bible states in Psalm 24:1  The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.. I have taught that the Bible is prophetic; God has divine timing for everything. Nothing surprises him, he has allowed things to come about to serve his own purposes. Every system that has ever been introduced to the world has faltered at some point and died, we can go back through history and study, the rise and fall of many empires and dynasties great examples are the Greek and Roman empires. The world economy is in shambles, people are crying out under the load of debt and poverty, it’s everywhere, and even believers are affected. I spoke to an individual yesterday; he said to me “it’s time the government did something about this.” I said to him, if they could they would. The Bible has said many things concerning money, the book of Ecclesiastes states that “A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things”. From this scripture, the distinction is made, that money, is quite important.

Created to destroy God’s enemies, Samson was born to fulfill a specific assignment on earth. His life was fraught with many battles, some which he brought on himself. The name Samson in Hebrew means “distinguished”, “the distinguished one” and “man of the sun.” Samson was born in the period when God was punishing the Israelites. God allowed Israel’s enemies namely the Philistines to wage war against them because they were disobedient. In Judges 13 we are told that Sampson’s mother was barren and could not conceive, God granted her prayer for a child. Samson’s coming was heralded by an angel of God. There were certain stipulations concerning the child’s coming into the world. He was to be a nazarite, which is a person consecrated to God for a specific purpose. The call on Sampson’s life was so great, that God in his wisdom stipulated that he lived and observed certain rules. The angel told Samson’s mother “now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing:For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines.”

As we see throughout scriptures, whenever, Israel disobeys God, he gives them over to their enemies in judgment for their sin. As the people cry out to him, he sends or raises up someone to bring deliverance. Israel relationship with God is an interesting one; you would think with all their struggles they would have learnt their lesson. Mans nature is fickle, Israel’s behavior illustrates this aspect of our makeup, we tend to forget all too quickly the goodness of God. God relationship with Israel follows a set pattern; the people   worship foreign Gods and false idols which anger God: Yahweh in Hebrew.

The Pattern:

  1. 1.    Israel “does evil in the eyes of Yahweh”,
  2. 2.    the people are given into the hands of their enemies and cry out to Yahweh,
  3. 3.    Yahweh raises up a leader,
  4. 4.    the “spirit of Yahweh” comes upon the leader,
  5. 5.    the leader manages to defeat the enemy, and
  6. 6.    Peace is regained.

Once peace was regained, for a time Israel does right and receives God’s blessings, only to relapse into evil behavior, repeating the pattern set forth above. God is forgiving and compassionate, he forgives countless times, but he also chastens those he loves. Samson was one of the last judges of Israel, judging from about 1095-1075 B.C.

Who were the Judges: They were divinely inspired leaders whose direct knowledge of God allows them to act as leaders, prophets and messengers for Israel. They would be the liaisons between the people and all opposing powers during periods of oppression by foreign rulers. This cycle happens about seven times between the conquests of Joshua until the time of Samuel. Samson lived towards the end of this 350 year period and is the last judge mentioned in the book of Judges. There were twelve judges in total, representing the twelve tribes of Israel. Some had major roles and offices, in the Book of Judges they were divided into two groups, the major and minor judges.

Quite a length of time and history involved, many generations of Israelites carried on in the same pattern. Mankind, to a large degree has behaved in predictable fashions for ages, it doesn’t matter how many times we teach, some people still disbelieve and some will continue to do evil. God gave Samson special ability to accomplish his mandate; he was the strongest man that ever lived. His supernatural strength was given for a reason. It was to be used to enable him to fight for his people, to protect them from attacks, to establish his people and bring them to God, through his example of servitude. Samson’s fight with the Philistines was largely personal and not out of concern for his people. God’s most important asset after his word is people. God acknowledges those who acknowledge him. I say this because the Philistines had their own Gods, so God left them to their own devices. We must remember too, that the Bible teaches that those who hate God’s chosen are his enemies and he will fight against such people.

When the angel came he stated that “the child was not to drink wine, cut his hair or touch a dead body” (13:3). Samson’s strength was in his covenant with God, what the angel delivered was indeed a covenant relationship, which would only be successful if Samson kept the agreement. Samson would eventually lead a life of excess, thereby wasting his talents and fulfilling his own lusts. Many times in life, we make decisions that change the trajectory of our destiny. Samson adamant decision to marry a Philistine girl, against the wishes of his parents would impact his life forever. When his young wife was killed, it pitted Samson against the Philistines in a personal vendetta. Samson priories became skewed from that moment on, and his focus was broken. He began frequenting prostitutes, a man chosen and given so many talents, leadership and divinely appointed lost his way. The enemy of mankind never rests; behind the scenes he was destroying a life that was full of promise. Maybe Samson wanted to bury his sorrows, maybe he felt unworthy after the death of his wife. Why did he not remarry? Why did he not repent? Did he ask God to heal his broken heart? Valid questions that the Bible does not answer for us, Samson was low in spirits to sort the company of prostitutes.

Delilah: is a Philistine harlot, and her mission was to trick and capture Samson for the Philistines. Her only loyalty was to the coin and the Philistines her own people. Delilah was a seducer, a trickster and someone who was involved in the dark arts. She bewitched Samson, so that he made stupid mistakes. We must remember that Samson was very strong, ‘he wrestled and killed a lion’ Judges 14:5–6, when the Philistines came upon him, they would come, as an army. This happened about three or four times with Delilah present after she had sold him out. So either Samson was stupid, arrogant, confident in his ability to escape, or he was under some sort of bewitchment. He eventually, told her his secret, which she promptly used against him.

God is faithful to the end, although Samson failed miserably, God redeemed in the end. He even mentions him, in Hebrews11:32 “And what shall I more say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets.”

Samson was an obstinate and strong willed man, he was not humble and extreme hubris dogged his footsteps. He strayed from God; Samson did not walk close to God for most of his life. It was towards the end, when he lost everything including his eyesight that he restored his covenant with God. This story is an example of how Satan can interrupt and destroy a life, if we are not careful to walk in divine revelation. Samson’s tenure was twenty years but he left little to show for his time in office. He frustrated the Philistines though, thwarting their attempts to totally dominate Israel.

Purpose: The reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.
Destiny:the events that will necessarily happen to a particular person or thing in the future. The hidden power believed to control what will happen in the future; fate.

It’s possible to know God and still fail in life. Sin and disobedience wreaks havoc on a man’s ultimate purpose. Our destiny requires some decision-making on our part, we must choose some things. Biblical examples include, Sampson, King David, Joseph, Daniel and Adam among many others. When we experience failure, how we move forward is determined to some extent by our choices .Sometimes we have to motivate ourselves, to keep on going. All of the above examples met with failure at some point in their lives, it’s their attitude that determined the final outcome. If you are not sure who you are any prevailing will blow you in any direction. Most of you are young and everything looks good now; generally the young never prepare for their future and I’m not just speaking financially. Some of the relationships you refuse to abort; some of those friendships you are involved in currently will ultimately destroy you. Many hear of relationships and they think family or loved ones. Hey what about business, church, groups, clubs, social media and the list is exhaustive.

Many people never take the time to reason or evaluate situations for themselves. I want to show you an example with the first couple. Before I do though I want to caution some of you, God has warned you before but you have not listened. Judas was appointed to be the betrayer, of Jesus “while I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled” John 17:12 There are some things in the spirit that we will never understand. Everything God made has ears; even the mountains read Matthew 21: 21. Jesus spoke to the fig tree and it dried up, why? The fig tree heard him speak the command. The morning has ears; the universe is in constant communication with its creator. There are really no secrets, when you think about the things of the spirit. To some of you this might sound way off, but how would you know, you’ve never invested time with God. Some of you might say a person doesn’t have an official title don’t worry, its religion speaking. Did most of the people in the Bible have a title? When God chooses it’s obvious. God has his ways of doing things; he uses things that might seem foolish to you.

Someone might look insignificant to you but you don’t know why God has chosen them to do his work. I read a true story recently this associate pastor saw the general pastor stealing funds from his church, and one day he tried the same thing. The Holy Spirit convicted him immediately .The associate Pastor response “was well so and so was doing it”. The Holy Spirit said to him,” that man has already gotten his reward on earth.” “You have a different calling” so the man repented of his sins. Even in the body of Christ there are some individuals who are there for a specific reason, they are the ones God will use like Judas to bring about his ultimate purpose. Why these individuals behave in such a fashion if Jesus came to redeem the whole of mankind? The problem originates in people’s hearts, who knows hearts only the Lord does? Some pastors are not on their way to heaven, it’s the truth and we know it. If you study the good book you’ll find this out for yourself. And Jesus said “then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity” Matthew 7:23. We serve the same God oh I take my pursuit of God seriously.

Adam did not know who he was; his major mistake was that he suffered from an identity crisis. He couldn’t teach Eve what he didn’t understand. God had given him everything he ever needed. When you have to scrape and fight and claw your way to get something from God you appreciate it when he finally gives it to you or you are a fool. Like Jacob his life had been characterized by struggle it came to a head when he wrestled with the angel. “He struggled with the angel and finally overcame him; he wept and begged for favor” Hosea 12:3-4.Adam loved his wife to distraction, like many men love and lust can render them unstable and unbalanced. Do you know that Adam failed in his life’s purpose; the real shame is that he lived to be 930 years. “And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died” Genesis 5:5.

The Bible never told us that Adam accomplished anything other than becoming a father after his exit from Eden. Do we get how much 930 years is, contemporary man has never lived to see these ages. God pronounced death on Adam and his wife,” But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” Genesis 2:17.From the day they disobeyed they were the walking dead. Imagine 930 years on the earth and he has accomplished nothing. You guys want to play with God, go ahead.

Death doesn’t always mean actual dying, God has many ways of killing a man yet he lives. Can you imagine how frustrated and unfulfilled Adam must have felt at the end of his life? Recent tragedies of individuals who have attained lofty heights are still on the periphery of our minds. Do you know who else played with God? Original bad boy, he has been sentenced to roam for ever until that day he burns in hell fire. Need I say more, God is a being, he has a presence, he is the creator of heaven and earth and all that dwells within them, and he is the king of all spirits. You can’t outsmart him; I dare you to try, if Lucifer didn’t win, what are your chances? Peace and blessings!

Christ and Christianity are inseparable, so intricately intertwined that one cannot exist without the other. Whether we recognize Christianity as divinity or religion doesn’t negate its relevance, significance or impact on mankind. The faiths doctrines and traditions are derived from the teachings of one individual. The question of the ages is who is this person? Some say he is Jesus the Christ, Savior of the World, Son of God and the earthly son of Mary and Joseph of Galilee. Hated, an object of ridicule, scorned, martyred, healed the sick, opened the eyes of the blind and cast out demons and devils as part of his earthly ministry. Jesus a paradox, misconstrued, reviled, loved, celebrated claimed divinity as his heritage and birthed Christianity a movement that has shaken the world foundations over centuries. Who is this man who incites such passion from his followers? Let’s excavate his history as we seek understanding of his role as a breach repairer, connecting man back to divinity.

Jesus birth is estimated to be around 6–4 BC/BCE. Historians have calculated his birth date based on two approaches. One involves the analysis of the nativity accounts in the gospels of Luke and Matthew and working backwards from the start of his ministry to arrive at a date. The other option is the use of historical data. Writers such as Flavius Joseph a 1st century Jewish historian in the time Jesus lived, recorded information we are privy to today. Jesus was born in the days when King Herod lived, the book of Luke 1:5 notes the reign of Herod shortly before Jesus was born. So what this information does is it authenticates the existence of Jesus and gives us historical real data.

Stained glass at St John the Baptist's Anglica...

On another level Herod would be recognized per his status as King, his significance in world history did not go unrecorded. Jesus on the other hand was unrecognized and seemingly insignificant. We must remember Jesus was of no real importance to the world at this time; his influence was mostly among his followers. Jesus bore no title; he did not belong to the wealthy and moneyed circles. Jesus was a trailblazer and revolutionary figure. Individuals of this bent are generally unrecognized until after their death. Most scholars will agree that Jesus existed and he was some sort of teacher. While there are footnotes and overlapping attributes describing Jesus in historical data. A lot is not known of him outside the people who interacted with him. Biblical scriptures teach that “… God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty” 1 Corinthians 1:27. Jesus of seemingly no importance has impacted the world in ways in which kings have been unable to do with all their power and influence.

Jesus has many attributes, he is not just a man he is also divinity in human form. His very birth attests his to uniqueness. From Biblical accounts in the Book of Luke Chapters 1 and 2 we learn the details surrounding Jesus conception and ultimate birth. Mary of Nazareth was Jesus earthly mother. Why Mary and not another woman one might ask? Some facts about Mary, she was a virgin, pledged to be married to Joseph of Nazareth a town in Galilee. Mary’s betrothed Joseph came from the line of David, why the significance? King David meant a lot to God, God testified concerning David I have found David son of Jesse, a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do’ Acts 13:22.God does not look at things man looks at “… the Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” 1 Samuel 16:7.

David found favor with God, and God made him a promise that he would send the savior through his line. “When your days are over and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, who will come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom. He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son. Your house and your kingdom shall endure forever before me; your throne shall be established forever” 2 Samuel 7:12-16.Everything in creation attests to the power of the living God. God sets up his plans and purposes way in advance of the players coming onto the scene. He promised David and he fulfilled his word through Joseph and Mary.

God is holy; he will never dwell in unclean vessels. We are told Mary was a virgin, but more importantly she found favor with God. Both Mary and David found favor with God, why? The Lord knows hearts, he chooses who he wants. The work God has for those he favors is never easy. It is great to be chosen by God but it means men will reject you. Gods favor makes the chosen to be envied by other men. We have seen how envy and hatred played out in the lives of Jesus, Mary, Joseph and David. I always emphasize the fact that God is a spirit; spirit can take many forms but ultimately God requires willing men and women to do his work in the earth realm. Mankind doesn’t see the persona of God, but they see the person and characteristics of God in others.

The earth and where God resides in heaven are two different realms. Each realm is inhabited by different beings and has vastly different functions. Earth is the training ground for things of the spirit; earth is the qualifying realm so to speak. Only three ways to leave earth, you can become an astronaut but you must reenter in some fashion, the second is through the rapture or thirdly we must die. I say this because there is protocol in entering and leaving the realms. Based on the evidence we have at our disposal Jesus is the only being who navigated both realms successfully. One could only accomplish such a feat if they are on intimate relations with the father or only if they themselves have the authority to defy the rules, principles and conventions of universal laws.

When Jesus was preparing to come to earth, a sanctified vessel had to be found to carry divinity. God makes his work look so easy and effortless we sometimes tend to dismiss it as insignificant or not God like. I ask you is there a measure for identifying the things of God? A womb gives birth to life; the first womb God used was the earth when he created Adam. God had to put himself into a womb; he had to pick one that belonged to someone that was pure. God word is so important to him he says “heaven and earth will pass away but my word will never pass away” Mathew 24:35.Wait, do you understand what God has said, his word stands above all else it’s more important than even you and me, it’s more important than his own kingdom wow….?

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” John 1:14.If we think of God words becoming flesh and the process that entails. How did Gods word end up in Mary’s womb, that’s for next time.

monday's flowers

Hope everyone is doing fantastic on this Monday.

The world over is reeling from the fallout of another senseless tragedy. My sympathies are with the parents and families that have lost  innocent children. When children are not safe even at school what are we supposed to do then? Violence has become a pandemic of epic proportions across the globe. It’s invaded our homes, offices, business places ,even our shopping malls and every strata of society.Society is becoming filled with individuals who feel powerless and full of fear. Our children are becoming desensitized to the constant barrage, it is simply to much.If we think for one second that this tide of violence is going away think again. People are extremely angry , so much so these days that they do not care how many lives  they destroy in the process of getting their revenge. This generation has no respect for other lives, they just kill at will.Mankind! What are we doing to each other,I ask you? Can’t we do better than this? Though we might never know why the young man retaliated in such fashion. We can all agree that he was very angry. Why are we so angry these days is the question?

God wants the whole of America, not just pockets of it.Why you ask? America influences the rest of world,God has his reasons. He will bring America to  its knees if they refuse to change.Everything that we are seeing presently is a symptom of something greater  at work.Change must happen now if the tide is to be stemmed.America must change, the world must change.

A concerned world citizen,my heart is aching for mankind. Some of you are waiting until the violence visits you personally, keep waiting you might not survive it. Can’t you see something is wrong! You and I can fix it if we change now.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”  2 Chronicles 7:14.

The power of knowing as distinguished from the power to feel and to will: the capacity for knowledge. The capacity for rational or intelligent thought especially when highly developed.

Where the things of God are concerned most of us rely on intellect alone. God is bigger than the sum of our brains, if he designed it, he must be of higher intelligence than his creation. First and foremost God is a spirit. A major characteristic of spirit beings is that they operate largely unseen. It stands to reason then if we can’t see them, there are ways they communicate with us. Humans are types of beings, so are animals and angels, all created by the same God (see the account in the book of Genesis). God speaks primarily to mans hearts, there are many reasons why we don’t hear him. In the gospel of Mark 4:14:20 the Parable of the sower explains to us why it is that many do not hear the inner voice of God.

“The sower (God) sows the word. These are the ones on the path where the word is sown: when they hear, Satan immediately comes and takes away the word that is sown in them. And these are the ones sown on rocky ground: when they hear the word, they immediately receive it with joy. But they have no root, and endure only for a while; then, when trouble or persecution arises on account of the word, immediately they fall away. And others are those sown among the thorns, these are the ones who hear the word but the cares of the world, and the lure of wealth, and the desire for other things come in and choke the word and it yields nothing. And these are the ones sown on the good soil: they hear the word and accept it and bear fruit, thirty and sixty and a hundred-fold.”

God can use anything to speak to a person who wants to hear him, he is almighty God he commands the winds, the seas and all his creation. In the Bible he has used talking animals, a flaming bush, angels, visions, and a “still small voice” to speak to his people. The heart is the center of the intellect, it consists of one’s intellect, emotion and volition (the act of will). Many of us search for God with our brain power alone. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts” Isaiah 55:9 says the Lord.

Mans wisdom rejects God, to get God we have to allow our other senses be open to receive him. God laughs at our wisdom, the Bible says in 2 Thessalonians 2:11-12

“And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” God allows those that don’t believe to carry on in their unbelief. He allows their behavior to catch up with them; sometimes they perish other times he intervenes. God wants our hearts and minds to be in fellowship with him, our brain (the mind) receives the word and it transforms our hearts to receive. Intellect is inherently fleshy or of the flesh, God has to speak and change our hearts by his process. When we accept Jesus the old man dies, we become new creatures and it’s this new man that accepts God transforming power in his life. This man is our spirit man; fleshy man will never get God. I believe Eve warred with her spirit. She had been preoccupied in her senses with the fruit she should not have been longing at. If her flesh had been in subjection to her spirit she would not have blundered. Apostle Paul said it best Romans 7:15-19 “ For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.”

The flesh wars with spirit when the spirit man is not in control, of the individual. The issue Paul is addressing is the fight with sin and wrongdoing; we are not able to overcome on our own but with God’s grace we can that is why we need him. What the fall or sin did was to cut us off or severe us from the power source. Satan interrupted what God was doing with mankind through Adam and Eve so he had to send Jesus to finish his work; Jesus is part of the Godhead (Three bare witness in heaven).God is a trinity, and he made man a triune being also because he was created in the image of God. God really loves mankind wow…! “God said, Let us make man in Our image” Genesis 1:26. The Holy Trinity is depicted in the Apostle Paul’s benediction “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen” 2 Corinthians 13:14.Further reference of the Trinity spoken by Jesus “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost” Matthew 28:19. “I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” 1 Thessalonians 5:23.Created in the image of God, man is likewise a trinity. He has a spiritual nature that is separate and distinct from the body in which it dwells.

Jesus came to reconcile man to his SUPERNATURAL capacity and giftings. He taught and showed by example the power of the supernatural, in the multiplication of the bread and fishes and turning water into wine. Jesus as part of the Godhead is the bread of life. If you ask him, he won’t refuse you. God hides himself for many reasons, mankind can’t handle the full manifestation of the spirit of God, it is too much. Put away your books meet God in his preordained meeting place, location the church and let him talk to your heart then we can compare notes. Have you seen tumors disappear, diseases healed, lives spared in accidents tell me your stories of God miraculous working power.
I’ve seen the operation of the spirit in churches and people are scared, well the men of old really walked with God they feared and revered him. The church wants revival, God has to manifest in such a powerful way now because of the things we have done and the evil strongholds that need breaking. What I really wanted to get at today is that many individuals who say there is no God has only studied one aspect of mans tripartite nature. The Bible is the foremost authority on the spiritual nature of man. Prove that spirits don’t exist and that the king of spirits is not God, that there are some mysteries we can’t comprehend and I’ll have to change my mind too but until that time I’ve proven God is a miracle working God, He spared my life multiple times and I count no better service than his work. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow (body), and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart Hebrews 4:12.

I decree and declare a breaking and shattering now in the name of Jesus!

Let the supernatural work of God take precedence now over the will of men.
