Merry Christmas!

Christmas is a very special time of year. People suddenly become more happy and joyful. It is a time when hope in humanity is rekindled and everyone looks towards the new year with a renewed sense of purpose.I pray that as we celebrate we would help someone  outside our regular circles enjoy this December.

May your season be filed with good cheer, great tidings, peace  and love. In this season “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you” James 4:8.

Even though 2012 might have been challenging for many of us we look towards the holidays and beyond to 2013.As we celebrate the birthday of  the kings of  kings  let us invite him in to partake of his birthday feast.Do you know you have been privileged  to enjoy this holidays, many who began the year are no longer with us.

I want to acknowledge my sister Joan St.John, who passed this year, may her soul rest in peace.

This holiday is a bittersweet reminder of the preciousness of life.Let our hope be continually in God, trusting that  he will be forever merciful to humanity.
